Sostelia is active in the field of environmental remediation through the innovative activity of the company Smart Sea, established as a spin-off of the Naples Parthenope University Engineering Department. Smart Sea has developed Alka-Fix-L: a patented, ready-to-use groundwater treatment technology. It is a proprietary, modular and adaptive plant, authorised for about 500 codes from the European Waste Catalogue, with a capacity of up to 30m³/h. Thanks to innovative technology, the plant is able to self-regulate according to the characteristics of the incoming water and allows the mass abatement of pollutants in groundwater in compliance with Italian law. On the strength of this patented solution, Sostelia offers immediate remediation and treatment of contaminated groundwater.
